These hats are dark but still maintain a balanced higher frequency response which means that they will project and sit nicely in the aural spectrum of live and recorded music. There’s a lot of hammering on these and they’re not too ‘slooshy’ and not too ‘tight’ ... that’s right ... they’re just perfect for a slightly larger main set of hats.
