This is an early 80’s sabian hand hammered ride that looks like it was hammered by the workers that Robert Zildjian brought over from the K Factory in Istanbul.

I took off a few hundred grams on the lathe, just because the intense patina was a bit suffocating and the original weight was a little too ‘piggy’ for my liking.

The ride was factory drilled for 6 rivets and the soundfile features one steel rivet installed.

Cymbals with this pedigree are getting rarer and rarer and this particular one is a sensational instrument in every way.
