One of the luxuries of being an independent cymbalsmith (although it can be somewhat of a burden for those of us who are meticulous about our craft) is that we can continue to work on something until we’re happy with it.

This ride was hammered from a blank over a year ago and was subsequently re-worked a few times until reaching it’s present state.

The bottom has been blackened with an agent to reduce wash build up.

This cymbal has a higher overall tension than many of my works and has some sparkle in the top end.
