This ride is my take on Bill Stewart’s ride sound.

The ride has a high profile, but not so high that the spread is unduly reduced or the crash sound ‘gongy’.

The bell and a section of the lower portion of the bow are unlathed on the underneath of the cymbal to help with control. The underneath also has a blackening treatment to increase the stick to wash ratio.
