You may have noticed that I really like half turk rides.

I really like the stick to wash ratio and the way that the sonic characteristics sit in between a turk and a fully lathed cymbal.

This particular one has been hammered with a pretty hefty 1.15 kilo hammer and has a little more trash than some of the others I’ve done. It’s also got a healthy wobble which helps to control excessive wash and add some nice undertones. This one has just been re-added (sept 20th) after a little more fine tuning.
