About the Dark Matter Series
This series features great stick definition where the click resides above an easily controlled complex wash. The DM series have a fast and complex crash response that decays quickly and are a little dryer than most fully lathed cymbals.
Minimal alloy is removed in the lathing process so that maximum case metal is preserved. This skim lathing (SL) ensures a dynamic and responsive cymbal with superb crash facility, but a controlled stick sound. There is an extra round of top hammering with a unique sharply convex hammer, which aids the fast response, control and stick sound.
They bear no similarity to the Dream series of the same name. Unfortunately, Dream used my name without permission.
