The ‘CLTB’ stands for ‘Craig Lauritsen from a Turkish Blank’.

This series starts out as a wavy unshaped, jagged edged blank and is carefully crafted by me as I pay close attention to the sonic characteristics of the developing blank and hammer and lathe it according to the feedback the cymbal gives me.

The cymbals in this series are the result of my intuitive skill being allowed to have free rein and each cymbal is a completely unique entity free of preconceived design goals.
